Seed to Spoon is a small worker-run cooperative, operating on rented farmland in Portugal Cove, NL. The base of our operation is the Lien Family Farm, a beautiful property with two acres of lovingly tended soil, several outbuildings and greenhouses.

The Lien Family Farm has been an important part of the organic community in Portugal Cove and Newfoundland for over 30 years. Seed to Spoon works closely with Judy on the care and maintenance of the property, where her expertise and knowledge are an invaluable asset to the co-operative. In November 2011 Judy received the Gerrit Loo Memorial Achievement Award, in recognition of her and Jon’s outstanding contribution to the organic industry in Atlantic Canada.
